We are happy to finally replace the teaser with Riftforge's news and information site.
Riftforge is an online fantasy role-playing game with a novel approach to tactical combat that adds a significant element of player skill.
You are in control of a House (e.g. House Dread). Each House fields multiple commanders and their troops into combat. Some combat missions will require a single commander and his or her troops. Others will require two or more commanders and up to twenty units.
Take your time to get familiar with the three branches of Riftforge military:
Guardians - tanks, melee damage dealers;
Rangers - ranged & area of effect damage dealers;
Raiders - burst melee damage dealers, de-buffers.
Each branch offers you a commander, core and special unit, as well as support personnel. You can customize your units further with your choice of skills, specialization, and equipment.
In the next post, you will get a bit more info on the Riftforge game world and the frozen continent of Manirak.

play style
so i cant find any screenshots of gameplay beta or otherwise. also was unable to locate conclusive info on just exactly what style of gameplay it encompasses.
the thing is. im a huge diablo fan but utterly despise the gameplay of wow and games of that nature. its just boring to me. you know. walk here, fly there, go kill 15 of these. and do it using all the same weapons and skills as the guy who came before you used because character customization is limited to hairstyles, skin color and tattoos. nothing that affects gameplay. dont care much for the mapping styles or camera angles either.
i suppose what im asking is. its not ANOTHER wow skin game is it??
